Planvista achieved development approval for Building Works to renovated this pre-1946 dwelling at Paddington.
The subject site is located on a corner of two road, thus requiring assessment for building renovation aspects on both road frontages. The main challenge for this project was a very large mango tree which was mapped as being a significant landscape character tree. Despite the tree being mapped, the tree had been significantly damaged by previous works for a pool constructed by the previous landowner. With assistance from a consulting Arborist, Planvista was able to successfully argue that the tree should be removed, despite its character value to the local streetscape.
